Culture, Tradition & Social Change

Welcome to El Rastrillo 305. A Miami 2.0 version of the traditional Rastrillo of Madrid, a popular tradition and part of the cultural heritage of the city of Madrid.

El Rastrillo 305 brings the Spanish festivity to Miami to create a unique experience where culture, tradition and social change come all together in a night to remember.

Culture - Live music, artisan market, special cocktails, book signing, exclusive ruffle prizes  and much more in a night full of good vibes and entertainment.

Tradition - Miami is one of the most diverse cities in the world with many different traditions. This event will bring the best of all of them together to create a culturally rich atmosphere.

Social Change - We believe in the importance of opportunities and the power of the community. That's the reason we want to make a change and help the most disadvantage sector of the community by donating all the funds raised during the event to the programs that International Studies Foundation is carrying out in the city of Miami throughout sports, education and values.

International Studies Foundation (ISF) is a non-profit organization founded by CIS - The College for International Studies in Spain in 2012 and later in the USA in 2007 under section 501 c (3) of the IRS (Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury of the United States of America).

Our mission is to share and spread the values of American higher education and to serve as a point of contact between universities, public and private education institutions, corporations and foundations operating within the realm of education in the US and in Spain so as to strengthen the bonds between both countries.

We work with young children via constructive activities that encourage teamwork and improve overall health by promoting healthy habits and reinforcing self-esteem.

We aim for long-term educational sustainability by offering academically successful students the possibility of studying at CIS – The College for International Studies on a scholarship.

We work at the best academic, corporate, institutional and diplomatic level. We promote initiatives, projects, activities, conversations and exchanges to benefit society through University education.

We build and maintain relationships with other universities and colleges, public and private institutions, and with noteworthy individuals in all professional settings in order to foster a cultural exchange and to meet the goals of the Foundation.

The International Studies Foundation has made the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact part of its strategy, culture and daily activities. It aims to achieve voluntary commitment by institutions when it comes to social responsibility, through the implementation of ten principles that are based on human rights, workers’ rights, environmental awareness and protection, as well as anti-corruption.
